A longer-range battery mounted to the rear wheels generates 225 horsepower and will push the Ioniq from zero to 60 in just 7.4 seconds. Prefer all-wheel drive? This version is even more powerful. It delivers 320 horsepower and 446 pound-feet of torque and propels the Ioniq to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds.

Seriously Fast Charging Ability

You can’t beat the fast-charging ability in the Ioniq 5 with its 800-volt charging capability. With more super-fast charging stations being installed around the country, it will become easier to take advantage of this. It only takes about five minutes to get 60 miles of orange, and you get up to an 80 percent charge in just 18 minutes.

An Abundance of Safety Features

Advanced safety systems come standard in the Ioniq 5. From forward collision warning to automatic braking, blind-spot monitoring, and automatic high beams, you can count on this car to keep you alert and safe. Hyundai’s Highway Driving Assist 2 is also available. The Ioniq 5 is the first to offer this system that can learn a driver’s behavior and even change lanes for you on clearly marked highways.
