If the driver is unresponsive, the system can safely bring the Tucson to a stop and then activate hazard lights and the electronic parking brake. Tucson Hybrids Are Better Than Ever

The 2025 Tucson Hybrids now feature driver-adjustable regenerative braking levels for better control and comfort. Most Hybrid models use a 1.6 turbocharged gas engine combined with an electric motor for 231 total horsepower. The plug-in models use a high-output 1.6-liter engine with an electric motor for 268 total horsepower. The battery pack on the plug-in is larger than the regular hybrid and it charges faster. Several trim choices are available with the new Tucson, including an N Line and XRT trim.
