Two SEL Trims Now? Yes! 

For the 2025 model year, Hyundai decided to split the SEL trim into two different versions. You now have the SEL Sport and the SEL Convenience to choose from. It’s probably not a surprise that the SEL Convenience has all the features of what used to be a separate convenience package. This means you get the heated front seats, wireless charging, and enhanced voice recognition system without having to add it as an extra package.   The SEL Convenience also offers some extra safety features. Adaptive cruise control and an upgraded version of the forward collision mitigation system are standard.  

What About the SEL Sport? 

The regular SEL becomes the sport. While you don’t get the extra features from the convenience package, you still get a well-equipped entry-level car. The SEL Sport has keyless entry, push-button start, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system. This SEL also has a fully digital gauge cluster that sits in front of the driver, and it comes with USB ports for the rear seat passengers.   If safety on the road is your primary concern, do not worry. The SEL Sport is fully equipped with advanced driver aids. It has forward collision mitigation, a blind-spot warning system, and lane-keep assist.  If you’ve ever found yourself drifting off into nowhere land while driving down the highway, you’ll also appreciate the driver attention warning system. It will give you a little alert if it senses that you’re not paying attention.  

Go Even More Luxurious with the Limited 

While it's not new to the 2025 Hyundai Elantra lineup, the Limited trim is worth mentioning. This top-level model has all the features from the lower trims, plus it adds a premium Bose stereo system, synthetic leather upholstery, and a power-adjustable driver’s seat.   Again, as you move up the trim levels, you also get more safety features. Choose the Limited for rear automatic braking and a surround-view camera system that gives you a complete top-down view around the Elantra. This camera system is a parallel parking game changer.
